The reality is that the stress of raising neurodivergent, FASD, or foster/adoptive kids hits parents hard and they need support from someone who gets it. Life can also be tough for kids and teens hit by depression, anxiety, and anger. They need help, too. Being a parent is hard enough, but fostering, adopting, and raising neurodivergent/FASD kids brings it to a whole new level. These parents need information, but also validation and support. Did you know with boys everything usually comes out as anger? Sadness, embarrassment, depression, fear, confusion, anxiety, learning difficulties. I'd be happy to meet with them.
