I'm Crisol Carter. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California and North Carolina. I have 6+ years of experience as a trauma therapist, supporting children, adolescents, and young adults through traumatic experiences. I help individuals understand their trauma symptoms and learn tools to utilize in their daily lives to achieve stability. I believe that a DSM diagnosis helps organize symptoms and guides treatment. However, it doesn't always explain why those symptoms are there. As a trauma therapist, I utilize compassion and empathy to understand the whole person and their story.
