Have you ever experienced stress about making a decision/transition? Perhaps you are experiencing this right now. Oftentimes, we experience stress when making decisions due to our past or the unknown. As a Latina, I recognize that talking about our thoughts and feelings is not always safe or welcomed. Connecting to mental health counseling is still stigmatized within our community. We are often told “no pasa nada”, this thinking leads us to suppress our feelings which contributes to added stress. However, if we do not let go of stress or process past trauma, how can we live our best life right now?
