I strongly live with a great call to reach beyond self and understand that suffering can be our greatest asset. If we have the capacity to learn and grow from our experiences we have the capacity to improve our lives, improve our families, and improve our communities. As a African American, father, son, uncle and brother, from bondage to slavery, the phases of change, bring new hope, change that lasts, forsake old behaviors and do things differently. A value-based life is fulfilled life, people live out their lives in line with their values, it engenders a sense of well-being, in multiple communities, building better relationships.
