About
(NOTE: Due to high volume of spam calls, email is the surest way to reach me.) Author/poet August Strindberg wisely observed, “There are poisons that blind you and poisons that open your eyes.” I've found that struggles and painful experiences, when worked through with presence, can awaken growth, intelligence, and wisdom. While I treat symptoms with evidence-based methods, I also support deeper work to help address the roots of a problem. My intention is to help clients grow in authenticity, resilience, emotional intelligence, and communication—so they can respond with clarity, skill, and purpose rather than react out of habit. My approach to psychotherapy is collaborative, humanistic, and holistic. My work is grounded in prioritizing empathy, understanding, authenticity, belonging, respect, humor, patience, and presence. My therapeutic stance is shaped by over 15 years of meditation practice and trainings in emotional intelligence, mindfulness, and yoga.
