Communities, families, and individuals make up the world where we exist. When we start feel apart from that world, alone in that world, or unsettled, having an empathetic and compassionate person to confide in can make all the difference. In addition to substance use and other co-occurring issues, I also specialize in working with individuals and families that are involved with the criminal justice system. Having a pending charge, awaiting sentencing, or having a loved one that is struggling with these issues can increase anxiety and depression, along with feelings of shame and loneliness.
