I focus on helping clients address the root of their issues, not just the surface symptoms. In almost all cases, things like anxiety, depression, impulsive behaviors, and mood fluctuations stem from deeper wounds that have not been corrected. We need to work on the presenting problems, yes, but more importantly we need to address the underlying problem that is creating the symptoms. Imagine cutting back a rose bush you no longer want every year. You may have taken care of the problem temporarily, but it comes back year after year because you have never killed the roots. That’s the goal we have to accomplish together.
