I specialize in treating those teenagers, young adults, and adults whose lives have been negatively impacted by mental illness and/or significant life stressors. In my practice I help individuals treat the symptoms that are causing the most distress so they can begin to overcome the obstacles to health, fulfillment, and contentedness. When appropriate I provide psychoeducation to the family members and advise them in how they can best support the individual's recovery. In my late-afternoon/early-evening outpatient practice I enjoy working with people utilizing psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral theory and methods.
