About
Relationship is everything. We all have many relationships, and often, those relationships go into conflict. Conflict in any relationship leads to emotional distress. Whether that conflict is with a spouse or lover, ourselves, friends or family, our community, or even the broader world, all of our relationships and the conflict they can contain influence our mood, thoughts, decisions, behaviors, and communications. External relational conflict occurs between spouses, friends, family, colleagues, and others. Internal relational conflict occurs between us and things like food, our bodies, and sense of self-worth. Conflict in any relationship, be it internal or external, produces stress, anxiety, depression, and other problems that become patterns. Patterns then repeat and suffering deepens. Psychological distress is a sign that one or more of our relationships is out of whack. This can lead to a broad spectrum of feelings like sadness, anger, or frustration.
