I am Deandra Calvin, a licensed professional counselor with a mental health specialty. I believe that there a few things more fulfilling than witnessing a person experience growth and healing. I strongly believe that our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are interconnected and that they influence our worldview. My communication style is mostly collaborative where information is exchanged and topics are discussed to achieve a common goal. I also lean toward an assertive communication style allowing space for authentic expression while maintaining respect for all.
