I am a Board-Certified Professional Counselor and a Trauma Specialist. I have years of experience in treating individuals and families with mental health and family origin problems. It is a privilege and an honor when individuals allow me to help them through life’s challenges. I am professor, trainer, public speaker and a published researcher. I teach college students and I train child welfare and youth workers, and mental health and medical professionals to work with families. My teaching expertise are trauma and child brain development, substance abuse, sexual abuse, human trafficking, ethics, diversity, equity, and inclusion
