Welcome, My name is Demetrius K. Jifunza. I am a passionate licensed mental health counselor supporting clients in reestablishing balance to imbalances in their lives. I hold the firm belief that people are perfectly imperfect and often become stuck in life’s challenges, causing unhappiness and an inability to live fulfilling lives. I am integrative in my approach to therapy, consisting of solution-focused, narrative therapy, and mindfulness-based stress reduction. I have worked with clients with diverse backgrounds consisting of a wide range of concerns, including depression, trauma, anxiety, formerly incarcerated, life transitions, and grief and loss.
