Dempsey Fisher is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Registered Play Therapist, Autplay Certified, and EMDR certified. Dempsey completed her master’s degree in Social Work at Florida State University. Dempsey utilizes play therapy techniques with children, teens, and families. Dempsey is trained to interpret play of children to give the guideway to healing children. Dempsey works best with children and adults who have not responded well to therapy prior. Dempsey provides EMDR intensives focusing on populations that cannot do weekly therapy sessions but are still looking to heal themselves. Dempsey is a CIT for EMDR for therapist. Dempsey’s social work experience ranges from family case management in early childhood court, grief work in a hospice setting, to counseling homeless, ungovernable, and truant youth and their families. My background includes work with family conflict, depression, anxiety, communication issues, trauma, parenting styles, co-parenting, attachment injury.
