We all experience growing pains because the one constant in life is change. Sometimes that change is out of our control and unpredictable, and sometimes it is a change or decision that we want to make, or a direction we are wondering if we should continue to take. Growing pains can be positive and are a necessary part of life, but can be a pain! Individuals, couples, family, and children all experience growing pains any time there is change in our lives and we are all experiencing a lot of change currently. Growing pains can happen with moves, marriage, babies, school, parenting, loss, and with mental/physical health conditions.
