Many of the people I work with are strong, capable, and outwardly successful, yet inside they feel anxious, overwhelmed, or quietly ashamed for not feeling “happy enough.” Often, they grew up in environments where their feelings were minimized or unsafe to express. They learned to cope by being high-functioning, self-reliant, and accommodating, even when it came at the cost of their own needs. I am an Integrative Psychotherapist trained in EMDR, CBT, and somatic-based approaches. This means we don’t just talk about what happened, we work gently and effectively with how your mind, nervous system and body are still carrying it.
