The overarching therapeutic philosophy at Desert Wise is the belief that good therapy starts with meaningful human interactions. We believe that therapists must be comfortable, safe, and trustworthy to sit in a room with. Desert Wise's interdisciplinary team utilizes a range of treatment approaches (as outlined on our clinician's bios on our website's team page), but at our core, we believe that every patient who sits in front of us makes sense. We most frequently treat PTSD and C-PTSD (complex PTSD; childhood trauma), MST (military sexual trauma), as well as a variety of other conditions and concerns. We also provide a range of one-time evaluations (e.g., nexus, private DBQ, 2nd opinions, etc.).
