It can be difficult to ask for help, so let me start by congratulating you by taking the first steps in addressing your happiness and mental health. Your emotional health is very important and has an impact on your overall well-being. For far too long, stigma and fear of judgement has prevented people (especially people of color) from engaging in MH therapy. By engaging in mental health therapy with me, you will have a supportive counselor to assist you in identifying your goals, developing a plan to achieve those goals, and keeping you accountable to those goals. My goal is to teach coping skills and empower you to improve your circumstance.
