As a former corporate paralegal, Diana recognized the lack of balance regarding distribution of opportunities, as well as access to and participation in resources. This realization led to Diana pursing her true passion of professional counseling. Today, Diana is a licensed psychotherapist who has worked in the behavioral health industry for more than 20 years. Diana began her new behavioral health passion working in residential treatment programs designed to enhance skills for individuals reintegrating to community living after long-term institutionalization. Eventually, Diana opened a private practice. Diana was honored to partake in a project which led to becoming the psychotherapist for an alternative high school, becoming a published author, as well as and being selected as a therapist interventionist for a 5-year research project.
