After many years working with individual adults, families, couples, co-parents, children and teens, I have settled into a therapy practice on the island of working exclusively with individual women and teen girls. I prefer in-person meetings (walking on the beach is my office space), although I still do a limited amount of therapy with men and women via Zoom. A good client fit for me is anyone who is struggling in her personal relationships with a partner, friend, or family member, as well as parenting issues and work- or school-related stress. I recently retired as the executive director of the Center for Navigating Family Change (www.cnfc.org), an organization that works with high conflict co-parents. My expertise is in helping clients through the grief process, managing life transitions, and dealing with toxic people. I also work extensively with those experiencing anxiety and depression.
