My name is Doreen Hoornbeek and I’m an LMFT in Southern California. I’m the mother of 3 teens/young adults and maintain an active lifestyle. Being outdoors brings balance to my life and I love ocean kayaking, horseback riding and hiking. As a clinician I’m passionate about facilitating the healing process by assisting individuals in reaching their potential. By identifying one's strengths, we learn that resilience is within us with support through the counseling process. Growth, change and healing are possible and within reach. I have 15 years of experience working with children, teens, adults and families in need of tools to cope with a variety of challenges. I offer culturally competent care and provide a safe place for all who struggle with life's concerns.
