I have worked in a variety of settings during my 20 years in the field of mental health. These include medical and psychiatric hospitals, substance abuse treatment facilities, college counseling centers and, for the past twelve years, my private practice. This breadth of experience is a great asset and allows me to feel comfortable working with almost any client issues, but I still find that a grounded common sense is my best tool as a therapist. I also feel that I am able to express my perceptions in a manner that clients are able to hear, understand and take into consideration.
