Life has a way of inflicting stress, emotional pain and unusual circumstances which we are not prepared to handle. More often than not, we find ourselves unable to properly function and engage in healthy relationships because of our internal troubles which have outward expressions. Contemporary research provides credible evidence that mental illness is a risk factor for physical illness and vice versa.
