It takes a lot of courage to seek help, so I'm so glad you're here! My approach to therapy is based on the belief that people are born with the natural capacity to heal themselves. My role is to facilitate the healing process through support, the therapeutic relationship, cultural sensitivity, and evidence-based interventions. I help people develop self-awareness, heal from trauma, find relief, improve relationships, manage stress, and develop strong coping skills. I specialize in trauma, college student mental health, depression, anxiety, OCD, and postpartum mood and anxiety disorders. I am a licensed psychologist with a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology and 18 years of experience. My specialty areas include anxiety, postpartum mood and anxiety disorders, OCD, interpersonal difficulties, trauma, college student mental health, adjustment issues, multicultural concerns, depression, women’s issues, and family of origin issues.
