Not all clients arrive to therapy with the same issues or the same rooting point, so therapy needs to be unique to each individual. I provide a space to establish how clients see therapy happening and I am there to help guide the process in a healthy manner. The space belongs to the client, not me. I thrive on my ability to establish rapport and be transparent with clients. I like to use different modalities to see what works best for each individual. I use EMDR a lot because of its flexibility in how we can use it. Since I work a lot with trauma and other heavy topics, I focus on ways to approach these areas in a comforting and empathetic way.
