I am a licensed clinical mental health counselor with a PhD in psychology and research. I have over 20 years' experience in the field. For some people it may be difficult to talk with a counselor; whether it is their first time, or they have previous experience with therapy. My style is very relaxed, and client friendly. I am experienced in diagnosing mental health disorders, coping strategies, psychological education, and symptom management. I listen to my clients to help them understand their thoughts, feelings and behaviors. I identify their unique needs and together we create realistic treatment goals and effective strategies.
