You have made the first step and I am proud of you! I have experience working with children, teens, and adults. Areas of experience include trauma, anger, stress, depression, anxiety, relationships, ADD/ADHD, parenting, grief, and school-related. I earned a M.Ed in Education Administration/Supervision, a MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and a PhD in Human and Social Services. I began my career in special education in 1998 and in counseling as a master’s level counselor in 2010, a LAC in 2018, and a LPC in 2022. My therapy style is warm, relaxed, and open. I approach therapy eclectically because I believe there is not a “one size fits all” approach. I use a humanistic approach and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). I also use solution-focused and strength-based strategies. I desire to see individuals achieve sustainable change.
