I believe the goal of therapy is to help individuals live their most authentic and fulfilling lives. This includes exploring themselves, their relationships to others, and their place in the world. Within the context of a safe and non-judgmental therapeutic relationship, individuals can develop self-awareness and identify patterns they desire to change. Using empathy, direct feedback, and skill building, I believe individuals can heal, grow, and enjoy their lives more fully. I practice using an integrative approach grounded in psychodynamic and relational theories as well as incorporating mindfulness techniques.
