I have been involved in the mental health field for 16 years. I am fully licensed as a Professional Counselor in Georgia, South Carolina, and Connecticut. I have acquired a dual Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sociology. My Master’s is in Community Counseling. I have aLeo earned my Doctorate of Philosophy in 2018 from Capella University in Advanced General Studies in Human Behavior with my dissertation published in qualitative research on the correlation between sexual and professional identity. I assess for bariatric surgery candidacy as well as spinal cord trial candidacy. I take a laid back non-judgmental approach to therapy attempting to meet the client where they are. I do check in, follow ups, and give homework. I really do have a connection and amazing relationship with all of my clients in which they look forward to meeting weekly. We also celebrate when it’s time to terminate due to the amazing work they have done.
