Hello! I work with individuals struggling with a variety of challenges, such as grief, trauma, and life transition. I provide counseling services for anyone in early adulthood through late adulthood. With a background in higher education as a psychology professor, I offer a unique understanding of psychological processes in my work as a counselor. I serve a diverse client base, including older adults, trauma survivors, adoptees, LGBTIQ+ folks, Veterans, and individuals at the end of life. I utilize an integrative approach in my work, focusing on evidence-based practices to best serve you on your path to wellness. In your work with me, you will be encouraged to reflect on your life in a safe, supportive environment. We will explore the role your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors play in order to help you live life to the fullest. I also believe in the powerful role of stories, including those we inherit, those we tell ourselves, and those we pass on to others.
