Welcome! I am Dr. Ruth Millican, I assess children and teens for Autism, ADHD, and other forms of neurodiversity. I provide psychological assessments for children ages 6 to 18. The process involves an in-person assessment session with the child as well as thorough interviews with the parents, family members, and teachers. With over 17 years of clinical experience, I bring a diverse set of training and experience to assessments. This is an extensive deep dive evaluation that will help you better understand your child's identity, support needs, and ways to best parent them. The evaluations I offer are neurodiversity affirming, I see Autism, ADHD and PDA (Pathological Demand Avoidance traits) as brain differences, not disorders to be cured. The more you know about your child or teen, the more you can support them to be the most authentic and embodied version of themselves and to reach their goals.
