Navigating identity stressors and life transitions can be challenging, especially when you are doing it alone. Whether you are a Black teenage girl dealing with racial, gendered, and developmental concerns, a young adult in college exploring who you are and where you are going, or a graduate student or millennial professional trying to manage relational, career, and life demands, therapy provides an opportunity to address these concerns in ways that are meaningful to you. As your counselor, I offer an identity-affirming, collaborative, and anti-oppressive space for you to feel, question, process, challenge, and heal. In our journey together, I will tailor my approach to you, which is informed by relational cultural theory, narrative theory, womanism, and liberation psychology.
