About
I specialize in helping clients who are facing chronic stress and trauma. Using techniques from cognitive-behavior therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy, we will explore personalized ways to help you create the life you want. I believe in the importance of finding joy and connection in your life, even during periods of stress and uncertainty. As a professor of behavioral medicine who has helped train healthcare professionals, I also have a special interest in helping students, residents, and new professionals cope with secondary trauma, compassion fatigue and to foster resilience.
