About

I have extensive years of clinical experiences working with individuals with various emotional struggles with depression, anxiety, traumatic life events, and/or relationship problems. I am committed to helping people recognize their own strengths and find solutions to problems. As a bilingual clinician, fluent in Korean and English, my special interest is to work with immigrant families, assisting with their adjustments in a new country dealing with cultural differences and generational conflicts within family systems. I also would like to help military personnel and their families. I provide clinical supervision to student interns and postgraduate clinicians as an AAMFT approved supervisor since 2008. My doctoral dissertation title is "Impact of transnationalism on multiracial challenges and resilience among Asian mixed-race adults in the United States.
