I believe that people have the power to live healthy, connected, and full lives. I assist clients in safely exploring difficult relationship histories and creating new boundaries for healthy communications. I specialize in working with adults who have histories of childhood trauma, sexual abuse, and attachment wounds. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I utilize a variety of traditional treatment interventions such as EMDR, DBT, and Attachment Focused Trauma Therapy. I am also a registered yoga instructor with training in trauma-informed yoga and polyvagal theory and believe that our bodies hold trauma. Clients are welcome to experiment with body movement and breathwork in sessions to assist in nervous system regulation. There is no requirement of yoga experience to access the healing it can inspire. LGBTQIA affirming and ally!
