I believe emotional regulation is the backbone to every choice we make. That being said, I am passionate about working with children because this is a skill that should be learned as soon as possible to ensure our success as adults. Another population I focus on is first generation minorities. Being a first gen Latina myself, I have faced many struggles in finding professionals who look like me and are also bilingual. This cultivated my drive for providing access to quality mental healthcare for marginalized communities. It would be a privilege to accompany you on your healing journey. I enjoy working with children and adolescents, especially those who may be neurodiverse. Play therapy and creative arts are some of my most frequently used interventions for clients.
