Taking that first step toward change and growth is likely the hardest. I am here to help my clients after they take that first step and choose to seek out counseling. I specialize in working with individuals ages 16 and up who are facing difficulties with anxiety, depression, life transitions, stress, and grief. I utilize many different counseling theories to help my clients, based on what the client's presenting needs are. Some of these theories include Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). As a counselor, I try to create a comfortable space for my clients to show up as they truly are. My goal is to help my clients feel empowered to create a better life for themselves. I want my clients to realize that they are more capable than they think, and they may just need some guidance, as we all do in life.
