Congratulations on taking the first step towards feeling better! Just deciding to start therapy is a huge step towards healing. We can take the next steps together. I work primarily with queer, transgender, and gender non-conforming clients. Everyone deserves mental health care which is supportive and understanding of our unique culture, experiences, and needs. While my specialty is working with queer clients my skill set is applicable for helping other minority-identity clients. My approach is compassionate and non-judgmental. I help adults work through relationship challenges, identity questions, feelings of hopelessness, and traumatic events. I acknowledge in therapy the stress and violence of living in our current society. While being in therapy cannot prevent us from experiencing oppression and burnout.
