Hi Im Elysa! I'm a dedicated therapist specializing in trauma-informed care, anxiety, and PTSD. I’m currently practicing under a limited permit with supervision as I work toward full licensure, and I hold a Master’s in Forensic Mental Health Counseling from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. With experience working with first responders, military personnel, and children, I’ve developed a strong foundation in helping individuals of all ages navigate and heal from trauma. My approach blends Psychodynamic with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy empowering clients to challenge automatic thoughts and cognitive distortions that can keep them stuck in unhelpful patterns.
