I am a NY and NJ licensed psychologist with 20 years of clinical experience in treating adults of all ages and adolescents (14 years old and up) struggling with various emotional difficulties. I am particularly interested and experienced in working with: Anxiety (generalized anxiety, separation anxiety), Depression, Perinatal Mood Disorders (Post-Partum Depression, Loss and Grief, Infertility), Interpersonal Difficulties (peers, co-workers, family), Stress Management, Self-Esteem & Mood Regulation Difficulties, and Trauma (early childhood relational, sexual abuse, social trauma). I also have an extensive training in psychoanalytically informed Couples Therapy with a focus on understanding the unconscious reasons (early emotional needs, yearnings, core emotional conflicts, beliefs about intimate relationships) that brought 2 people together but unfortunately led to problematic ways of relating, unhappiness and dissatisfaction.
