It is an understatement to say that Emily is passionate about her work. She specializes in Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and Anxiety Disorders including phobias, panic disorder, and social anxiety. She was trained in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) in 2021, which is the gold standard treatment for OCD. Emily works with individuals coping with a variety of concerns such as depression, body image issues, and relational issues, but anxiety is her bread-and-butter. She particularly enjoys working with individuals who struggle with perfectionism, self-doubt, and an inflated sense of responsibility. I utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy in my practice and integrate ERP for clients with OCD and phobias. My style of therapy is focused on mindfulness skills, tangible skills to help mitigate unwanted behaviors, self-compassion, and helping people embrace authenticity to build self trust while navigating their unique challenges.
