Emily works primarily with children and teens who have experienced trauma. She believes that healing happens not only in the therapy room but also within the child’s larger world, which is why she values close collaboration with parents, schools, and other support systems. Her approach is rooted in creativity and play, helping young people process difficult experiences in ways that feel natural and safe. Emily is trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and she is currently completing training in Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP).
