Hello! I’m Emily, a Licensed Master of Social Work (LMSW) and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) based in Iowa, providing counseling for teens (13+), adults, couples, and families. My background is rooted in substance use and mental health counseling, and I bring a trauma-informed lens to every session. I use evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based therapies, motivational interviewing, and strengths-based care, always prioritizing meeting clients where they are in their journey.
