Hi! I'm Emily and I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, Art Therapist, and Professional School Counselor. I received my Master's in Counseling Psychology, with an emphasis in Art Therapy, at Adler University (formerly the Adler School of Professional Psychology) and School Counseling Endorsement from DePaul University. I have been practicing for over 13 years, helping individuals (adolescent through adulthood) manage emotional distress and learn healthy coping strategies to reach a higher level of social-emotional wellbeing. During our first session, I will introduce myself, and try to understand the challenges you are facing. I will ask questions to understand the history of these challenges, what may trigger a heightened level of emotional distress, and what/if any coping strategies and supports you already have in place.
