I'm a licensed psychologist specializing in anxiety, trauma, depression, and relationship issues. My style is warm and collaborative and I work to create a supportive environment in which my clients feel safe to explore their thoughts and feelings. I work from a psychodynamic framework, meaning that I believe the problems clients face are often rooted in current and past relational experiences as well as in feelings outside of conscious awareness. I also work collaboratively with clients integrating mindfulness techniques and mind-body focused approaches to help them experience relief from symptoms and gain greater self-awareness. I have experience working with adolescents and adults in a number of settings. As a result, I am comfortable working with a diverse group of clients with struggles related to a variety of issues; from grief and compulsions to relationship dissatisfaction. In addition, I have specialized expertise working with issues of trauma and sexual trauma.
