I'm Emily, and I'm passionate about working with kids, parents, and young adults who are navigating strong emotions, significant life changes, or just trying to better understand themselves. My clients often come in feeling overwhelmed: dealing with anxiety, depression, school stress, identity questions, or childhood trauma. I aim to provide a space where clients can be themselves, learn new ways to cope, and feel supported as they grow and process the hard parts of life. Having a strong connection with your therapist is a huge predictor of success in therapy! Knowing this, I take a person-centered approach while pulling from evidence-based practices (such as ACT and CBT) to meet your needs in a way that feels conversational and natural. I specialize in childhood trauma, and am a rostered TF-CBT provider.
