Welcome! I'm Emily Vaias, an LMSW working out of Hamden and Glastonbury, specializing in ADHD, stress/anxiety, trauma, and life transitions for adults, college students, teens, and preteens. As your therapist, my goal is to provide a space for you to learn about yourself. We will work to help you understand your needs, cope with your stressors, and achieve your goals. You may be unsure of what you want to achieve in therapy at first, and that's okay! Whether you come to me with a crisis to resolve, a problem to talk through, or simply as a mental "stretch" or "check-up," this is a supported, guided space for you to start the work.
