I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor. I received my doctorate from the Adler School of Professional Psychology. I work with children and families, as well as teens and adults utilizing Individual and Family therapy. I find importance in practicing types of therapy that allow me to understand a person from their own perspective, honor their potentially difficult past, while helping them through a potentially difficult present. I focus on a person’s needs and what might work best for them. This might look like talk-therapy, engaging in play, or using a meditation-like approach to help guide therapy. I am optimistic by nature and have a good sense of humor. I believes that the relationship is the most important part when working with a client and I let this lead the treatment process.
