As a long time member of the Oxford community, living through the tragedy has shaped my views on trauma, mental wellness, and healing. I believe that past traumas of all sorts can play an integral role in one’s current emotional state and sense of self worth, i.e. "baggage". What if you could put the bags down and be lighter? Feelings of anxiety, depression, anger, and even insomnia, can be your body alerting you to take a deeper look. I believe that healing is possible, and that each person is the expert of their own lived experience. I would love to work with you toward the positive changes you desire. My approach to therapy is strengths based and trauma informed, taking a holistic view of the person. I work with teens, young adults and adults of all ages. I specialize in treating trauma, depression, anxiety, life transitions, relationship issues, and women’s issues. I also have experience with ADHD, postpartum depression, PTSD, and spirituality.
