I believe that we all need help and support in our lives, especially in times of crisis and change. We all have capacity and resiliency already present in our life, but sometimes we may need someone else to witness and help support us during times of grief and loss, change of identity, or interpersonal pain and relationship difficulties. I think that creating goals of changing the way that our thoughts and beliefs influence our feelings, being able to feel what we are going through with another person present, and setting concrete goals with our behavior can help when seeking therapy. This is what we can do together.
