I believe that counseling is a journey that we embark on together, where one learns the tools and skills necessary to live a fulfilling life. I integrate multiple theoretical perspectives that will best fit you and the concerns you wish to work through. My most used perspective is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which focuses on examining the relationships between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I will focus on thought distortions that may cause you to experience any stress or discomfort. We will also attend to the behaviors and feelings that assist you in believing in these negative thought patterns.
